How we handle your information.
Short version: we collect only what you type into the waitlist form, we use it only to tell you about the Hardeen beta and studio partnership, we don't track you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are
Hardeen is an early-stage project building AI for VFX pipelines, run by its founders Dmytro Rohovyk and Dmytro Kyrylov. Dmytro Rohovyk is responsible for your data (the "controller" under the GDPR). For anything about your data, write to privacy@hardeen.app.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address, and whether you joined as an artist or a studio
- anything else you choose to give us: your name, studio or company, role, GPU, and your message
- the country your connection comes from, as reported by our hosting provider (not your IP address)
To stop spam, we briefly keep a scrambled, one-way fingerprint of your IP address. It can't be turned back into your IP, changes every day, and is deleted after 24 hours.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from attacks.
Why we use it
- to send you one confirmation email, and to tell you when the private beta opens
- for studios: to contact you about design partnership
- your GPU answer: only to check that your machine can run Hardeen's local model well
- to keep the form safe from spam and abuse
We use your details only for these purposes. We never sell them, and we don't send you marketing beyond news about the Hardeen beta.
Legal basis: your consent when you submit the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and the waitlist database (stored in Western Europe) and protects the site from attacks.
- Resend: sends the confirmation and notification emails.
- Zoho Mail (EU data centre): our own inboxes, where signup notifications and your replies arrive.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU, for example in the United States. Where they do, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to remove them, or at the latest 12 months after the Hardeen beta opens, after which we delete them. If you become a beta tester or a design partner, we'll tell you separately how your data is handled from then on.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. You can withdraw your consent, and object to how we use your data. Write to privacy@hardeen.app and we'll reply within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects you significantly, we'll tell you by email first.
